Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the course take?

The course is entirely self-paced, with no deadlines. Some students complete it relatively quickly, while others prefer to spread their studies over a longer period. You decide how much time to devote to each lesson.

How is this course different from Reading Between the Lines?

Reading Between the Lines: Decoding Handwriting introduces the fundamental principles of gestalt handwriting analysis. The Independent Study Program builds on those principles with more extensive instruction, handwriting samples, and practical exercises, helping students develop their analytical skills.

Will I be professionally certified after completing the course?

No. Students who successfully complete the course receive a certificate of completion, not professional certification.

Those wishing to pursue professional certification are encouraged to join the American Handwriting Analysis Foundation (AHAF) and undertake its independent certification examinations. These are rigorous examinations that require substantial knowledge and preparation.

The Independent Study Program provides a strong foundation for students who wish to pursue that goal.
